An Inspired Balinese Mountain Retreat surrounded by extraordinary gardens:

Only 40 minutes from the center of UBUD; you drive a short journey through the countryside and arrive at our inspired retreat.

This truly is a place to retreat to when you want a break from the hurley burley of corporate life. Though we were only two people, we didn’t feel out of place; it still works as a couple’s retreat, which is unusual in a four-bedroom villa.

EXTRA BENEFIT:

The original “Bamboo” House is located in a separate part of the garden, and truly and adventure for those looking for something eco-friendly.

Highlights

Surely a stay at Villa Puri Naga Toya should be on every curious person’s bucket list! This amazingly individual villa reveals a part of Bali that most people never get to see, and with such panache. On the one hand there’s the stupendous view; with its different moods one can never tire of it. On the other there’s cultural immersion through the Chinoiserie style and collection of antiques. The result is a uniquely rich experience – and a rare treat.

Surprises

The evening chill was a surprise after the searing heat of the coast with no biting insects, but that’s nothing a light shawl won’t solve.
